Tri-County Supply was established by Paul and Mary Ellen Lewis at 12069 Olean Rd (Rt 16), Chaffee, NY upon completion of a 4600 square feet building in 1962.  The company can trace its roots to 1946 and Lewis Machinery Service located on Phillips Rd in Holland, NY.  During the 1970’s Paul and Mary Ellen’s sons Richard, Ronald and Russell joined the business and assumed management upon Paul and Mary Ellen’s retirement. Tri-County Supply, Inc. was incorporated in 1990 and today has 10 fulltime and 2 part time employees, including OPE service manager Darwin Beardsley and accounts managers Ellen Lewis & Kelly Lewis.

TCS started out as a business primarily serving agricultural customers with sales and service of equipment, supplies, feed, and crop inputs.  The past decades has seen a shift toward more lawn & garden and outdoor power equipment sales and service. In 1977 additional building of 5200 square feet was built  to provide a new service & repair shop for large equipment & motor vehicles, and warehouse storage space.  A 2500 square foot showroom addition and a complete remodeling of the original building in 2002 has facilitated steady growth in both sales and service of outdoor power equipment, outdoor furniture & living products and recreational vehicles.
